Our Staff

Our Staff Twenty four hour care is provided in all our homes with most staff qualified to at least NVQ2 . All our Registered Managers are qualified to management level in care of the elderly. Enthusiasm for the joy of care is fostered among the staff in all homes.

The Manager is in day to day charge of the home and is assisted by either a Registered Nurse, Duty Officer or Senior Carer depending on the type of home. These management assistants ensure that the remaining care staff are supervised when administering personal care.

Our staffing numbers and skill mix vary but are always appropriate to the assessed needs of the clients, size, layout and purpose of the home. Staff are easily identified by their uniform and name badge.

Our Staff Our staff benefit from our bespoke training programme which is administered by the Groups’ experienced Training and Health & Safety Officer. This programme enables all staff to roll on and off as required throughout each year. The introduction of new courses now sees the Groups’ training programme cover in excess of 18 courses from basic first aid to managing challenging behaviour.

Our unique training strategy enables all new staff to receive all mandatory and core training within their first 12 weeks of employment; in addition new staff undergo the governments Skills for Care Induction Programme.

The Court Group is committed to the Investors in People quality standard. This ongoing recognition results from regular planning and reviewing of the services we provide ensuring that our homes grow and develop in line with the needs of those who use our service and are employed by our service.
